Our Council should offer support for voluntary conservation of habitat on private land. New developments need to respect and maintain the character of the Macedon Ranges. Let’s strive to find innovative solutions to the problem we all face. In doing so let’s ensure we maintain our natural environment for the decades ahead. Appropriately managing tourism events to maximize benefit Macedon Ranges is a beautiful region just an hour from Melbourne. Visitors are attracted to our major events. We need to ensure these events are managed to provide maximum benefit to our local community. Good Governance A Council which is transparent, accountable, and continually improves. A Council that listens to the community and efficiently delivers what the community wants.
